Our Commitment to Sustainability

Sustainability & Responsibility at Yes To™

At Yes To™, we’re committed to pushing ourselves to operate as sustainably and responsibly as possible. While we’re always testing new, innovative ways to reduce our carbon footprint, here’s what we’re delivering on now.

Our team is dedicated to choosing the best ingredients in every Yes To™ formulation. We have a rigorous Natural Standard, and are the only mass skincare brand to claim at least 95% natural ingredients before water. Natural ingredients are those that come from or are made from a renewable resource found in nature. We are proud to list the natural ingredient percentage on the front of each Yes To™ item.

sustainability practices for clean beauty skincare

And, since 2006 we’ve not only been natural, but clean as well. Our products are formulated without over 2,000 questionable ingredients banned in both the EU and Canada. We do not use microbeads nor synthetic colorants, and certified Responsibly Sourced Palm Oil (RSPO) is used in our bar soaps.

As a beauty brand, it is of the utmost important that we remain completely cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny Certified. This means we never test any products on animals, and none of our ingredients are tested on animals either. Over 90% of our formulas are vegan. As a matter of fact, we often test our products on ourselves and friends and family!

And, it’s important for us to eliminate as much waste as possible. Our Charcoal, Cucumber and Watermelon Wipes can be composted at home and are made with compostable, plant-based fibers that are suitable for home composting. We also use FSC certified, recyclable paper for boxes and trays. And most of our tubes and jars are 100% recyclable. For at home recycling, we recommend:

  • Removing excess formula in the product by rinsing it out completely with water.
  • Taking off the label before recycling.
  • If the product contains a pump, remove it.

Our company is far from perfect, but we remain committed to constant improvement, learning about and implementing new sustainability practices whenever possible.
